Shakespeare’s Year!

The World Shakespeare Festival continues…

Have you added your voice to our Year of Shakespeare project, yet?

Since April, Blogging Shakespeare has been hosting many reviews and responses to the productions which are part of the World Shakespeare Festival.

You might like to browse the Year of Shakespeare site by clicking here and watch some of the videos and links which are part of it. Perhaps you’ve seen a show and would like to make a comment on the appropriate review blog? Or, if there’s a play, theatre company, or nationality you feel especially close to, you might like to find out about the appropriate productions and add comments, even if you have didn’t get chance to see the actual show.

And doing so would make you part of the digital archive which will be held here at The Shakespeare Centre.

When people, in let’s say seventy years time then ask, ‘What was the World Shakespeare Festival like?’, they’ll be able to find out how people responded to it.

Have a look at the video below to find out more about the on-going project and how you can become part of it.
