Continuing a short series of video posts from international Shakespeare conferences, here’s Dr Nicoleta Cinpoes of the University of Worcester talking to me in Craiova during a warm day back in May.
At the University of Worcestor she teaches Renaissance Literature, is Course Leader for English Literary Studies and is co-director of the Early Modern Research Group.
She’s made a special study of Hamlet in Rumania, 1779-2008 (Edward Mellen Press, 2010) and helped to organise the conference which ran alongside the Craiova Shakespeare Festival.
The Craiova Shakespeare Festival is one of the eight (so far) which form part of the European Shakespeare Festivals network. Since 2006 it’s taken place every two years and you can find out more about it by clicking here.
